Teixeira Duarte

Teixeira Duarte started its activities in 1921 as building contractor specialized in geotechnical investigation and foundations. During the Estado Novo period the company executed many of the most important new system of infrastructures (roads, bridges, public buildings, etc.) promoted by the Regime. It's sustained growth on Construction over the decades allowed the group to develop other sectors, such as Real Estate ( since 1973), Highways Concessions and Services (since 1984), Automobile (since 1991), Health Facilities Industry (since 1992) and Logistics, since 1996. Currently the Teixeira Duarte Group counts with 10,500 workers operating in 19 countries on 4 continents.
