In 1987, the company began operating the television channel “TF1” and in 1988 moved to its new headquarters, the Challenger complex in Saint-Quentin-in-Yvelines, France. In 1996, the company launched Bouygues Telecom and in 2006 acquired 23.26% of Alstom. It is currently leaded by the founder’s son Martin Bouygues, since 1989, and is headquartered at 32 Avenue Hoche in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris. In 2017, it had over 115,530 employees in 90 countries, generating a turnover of 32.9 billion euros. The Group specializes in construction, with the Colas Group and Bouygues Construction, in real estate development, with Bouygues Immobilie, in the media industry, with Group TF1, and in telecommunications, with Bouygues Telecom.
